the end - white balloons 05Sep08 | 0

This one is my most recent dream trip….tons and tons of white balloons around my face. I stand there outside my own house, my real house - the house I live in now - holding my white balloons and staring at the windows of my house. It’s a recurring dream, a special one I’ve been saving to the last.

I don’t care to analyse it. It’s just a dream. My very last just before I hand this project in. It doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a thought among many and fools suffer unwisely when they think too much.

Send me some white balloons.

Dream song of the night | The Cranberries : Dreams

Last night I became the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.  Stomping down my neighbourhood street, I pulled a mother from each of the houses, and began munching on them - I think I sat on a few also. Until someone lit a giant match under me and I melted. I went down in a screaming heap surrounded by miniature witches from the Wizard of Oz cackling at me.

That wasn’t the end for me though. I was re-incarnated (much to my horror) as jar jar binks. Is there any character on this earth who is more annoying than this dude. I don’t think so. On the subject, hands up who really cares if critics believe Jar Jar was also stereotypically gay? Far out. Some people have too much time on their hands.

The real world

Note to self: stop watching movies before you go to bed. No more whoppers with cheese and bacon and bacon and bacon and bacon and bacon and bacon.

The dreambook says

I could find absolutely nothing on this dream. There are no interpretations of this. AT ALL!.

Dream song of the nigh | The Corrs: Dreams

It was bound to happen. I spend half my life at work, so who’s surprised I had a dream about my boss.

In the dream he’s a chef. He cooks a cheesy thing for me however unlike real life, I don’t get sick. Instead, my leftover dinner works up to a big cheese ball. The cheese ball rolls down the street, collecting people like something weird out of the simpsons. You know how they set up story lines from weird places? This was the same. My cheese ball went down 5th Avenue, and rolled into Macy’s.

Macy’s lady said to me, you can’t bring that in here - no cheeseball’s allowed (she was wearing a pineapple suit). Security! And then security comes to get me, and I’m in jail. My whole family comes to visit me in jail. My little sister what little sister? asks me if I can lend her the cheese ball for her dinner on the weekend. My boss is no where to be seen. Although he was in a great mood today when I went to work. Maybe …he had a dream about me?

The real world

I’m lactose intolerant. I wouldn’t each cheese in real life but I looooooove it. So hardly surprising that I dream about it. If you want to send me some cheese, please do. I like to look at it.And smell it. Mmmmm cheese.

The dreambook says

To see cheese in your dream, symbolizes gains and profits

Dream song of the night | Gabrielle: You guessed it… Dreams

If you see the tooth fairy, tell her to leave me some vodka. I prefer Absolute thanks. Honestly, I think the tooth fairy is a wrought. I used to try and pull out my teeth with that ridiculous door and string method (which never works by the way). All the while I never knew I could just learn how to rip them out with pliers from the homeless people.

This is what I was dreaming about last night. My damn teeth. Can you feel pain in a dream? Yes sir you can. You can smell vomit, feel pain, see colours, and hear laughter.

I had these perfect, movie-star teeth, with gold caps like a rapper. Every time I smiled, people turned to stone. Lol. I went to the dentist, to have more gold caps put in. He told me if I had any more my mouth would melt. It did. I sued him for putting the first ones in.

The real world

Omg. All I can think about lately is having my teeth whitened, and I think this is where this comes from. My teeth aren’t yellow yellow, but I don’t like to look at them in the mirror. I was far happier when I didn’t have natural light in my bathroom. My wrinkles were smaller and my teeth were whiter, and I could continue to delude myself that smoking and coffee were not harming my teeth.

The dreambook says

Seeing a mouth in your dream means your need to express yourself or talk about an issue that’s bothering you. On the other hand, perhaps you have said too much and you need to keep your mouth shut.

Dream song of the night |  Roy Orbison: Dreams

In a green green rain forest I lived with elderly people in a retreat. There were thousands of brightly coloured birds in the trees and in the huts. Some caged, some not.

I sat and watched the caged birds all day and decided to take one for myself and put it inside a container. There was a fork next to the cage so I picked it up after I closed the lid, and furiously poked air holes in it.

It was too late and the bird died. I took him out of the container and squeezed his breast, trying  to revive him but to no avail. His wings fell off and flew away. I tried to catch them.

The real world

I’ve often wondered if you can give an animal mouth to mouth.

The dreambook says

To dream of dead or dying birds, foretells a period of coming disappointments. You will find yourself worrying over problems that are constantly on your mind.

[Retrieved from http://www.dreammoods.com]

To see a birdcage in your dream, represents a loss of freedom. You are feeling locked up and unable to fully express yourself.

To dream of a chirping and/or flying birds, represents joy, harmony, ecstasy, balance, and love. It denotes a sunny outlook in life. You will experience spiritual freedom and psychological liberation. It is almost as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

Dream song of the night | Eurythmics: Sweet Dreams

In a giant amazonian river, at twilight, I was fighting with a giant camel spider beastie and it was thrashing around.

I managed to stretch out it’s legs in the water so they couldn’t poison me with their tips, but they kept curling around to bite me. It didn’t really feel like a nightmare, although I suppose you wouldn’t call it pleasant. I did drink a fair bit of alcohol before going to bed.

Then my ex-boyfriend was there, and then another ex-boyfriend, and then my male neighbour (who has never been a BF). They were yelling at me to get out of the water, but their faces kept melting away as I tried to get away from the spider and over to them.

There was a hotel involved somewhere, a clerk who was panicked and trying to find the anti-venom. He was most unhelpful. If I had to rate him for customer service while I lay there dying from a camel spider bite it would be pretty damn poor.

The real world

I hate spiders. There’s one who lives in my couch in the backyard, and neither me or my roommate will sit on it ever again. I found one in my pants once…while I had them on. I woke up and there was one on my face.

My ex-boyfriends ….hmmm.

Customer Service: I do it for a job, and frankly I don’t think its all that hard to helpful!

The dreambook says

Dreaming of spiders shows a fear of being entrapped in another’s power, especially a predatory, devouring female. It can also denote a stifling atmosphere within the family.

Barrett, D, 1992, The Encyclopaedia of Prediction, Acropolis Books

To see a muddy and/or raging river, signifies tumultuous times and jealousy in your life.

Dream song of the night |  Jaydee: Plastic Dreams

I was grabbed by a moving van full of guys in black balaclavas with AK47’s. They raged past me quite fast and one of them reached out to grab my collar. But I became invisible and his hand simply reached out for air. There was a grenade in my hand made of glass and I threw it at the van and flew away, running horizontally across the side of a building. The van blew up, the men scattered onto the pavement, as they rolled they turned into giant black beetles like the one’s in the mummy.

The real world

I was watching the mummy the other day, and I’ve always thought running horizontally across a building was cool.

The dreambook says

To dream that you are being kidnapped, denotes feelings of being trapped and restricted. Someone or some situation may be diverting your concentration and your attention away from your goals.

Dream song of the night | Patsy Cline: Sweet Dreams

Wow this one was an epic. I could write a whole movie.

Basically I was a young girl, going to a private girls school and I had this idea to build a gigantic religious theme park. There was freaky rides. I wanted to build something huge and expensive.

So I built a giant Jesus mouth, and there was a slide on the inside. But when you came out of the slide, you rolled into a red sea. The red sea would spit you out into a huge bouncy wall. And then the wall would swallow the children!

I got my friends and my teachers involved in it. People kept donating money and then the money started turning into little cars that would drive in circles around me. At the end (it was terribly complicated and involved) the wall swallowed me, and I lived inside the theme park inside one of the cars beeping at people when they crossed my path. Lol. Ridiculous.

The real world

Hmmm. There’s no religion in my life with the exception of friends who may be religious but it’s not like I’m having conversations about it. Actually my neighbour crosses herself all the time which is kind of cute.

I live in a town that’s full of theme parks so no surprises there. I was reading that Terry Irwin is getting slammed for wanting to grow her wildlife parks into something disney-world like.

The dreambook says

To see or be in an amusement park in your dream, indicates that you need to set some time for leisure and more enjoyment in your life. Consider how everything in the park is an expression of some aspect of yourself. Alternatively, you may be too easily distracted lately.

[Retrieved from http://www.dreammoods.com ]

To dream that you are deeply religious, foretells of a negative turn to your business affairs and a disruption to your life.

The dream

Dream song of the night |  Quench: Dreams

I dreamed I was afraid of the dark. I dreamed I was young, and went to girls school and I was too afraid to go to the toilet by myself and when I did, I threw up because I was so scared.

Then I woke up <reality> and got a drink of water and went back to sleep.

I dreamed I was the same girl but that I was a drug addict and I was much older. Some guy I didn’t know was giving me blue pills, and then he left me alone by myself in my edward-scissor-hands house.

The power went out, and all the lights with it. Someone broke in and I stabbed him. Then they sent me to an asylum.

The real world

This definitely wasn’t a nightmare. It didn’t feel like one at all. More like an out of body experience or like I was watching someone else but myself was me.

I am afraid of the dark. I do have a phobia so beware if you break in I will stab you! Ha Ha.

I probably took some Tylenol that was blue once.

The dreambook says

To dream that you have a phobia, suggests that you need to confront your fears. Do not let your fears control your life. Consider the specific phobia for additional clues in interpreting your dreams. For example, if you dream that have a phobia of heights, then it may mean that you your position at the top is a precarious one. You are afraid that you may fall from grace.

To dream that you kill someone, indicates that heavy stress may cause you to lose your temper and self-control. Consider the person you have killed and ask yourself if you feel any rage towards him or her in your waking life. You may very well be expressing some anger or hatred toward this person. Alternatively, you may be trying to kill or put an end to an aspect of yourself that is represented by the person killed. Identify the characteristics of this person and ask yourself how you do not want to be like him or her.

Eeek!

But then this : Ah..

This dream may also represent a part of you or your life that you wish would leave you alone and stop creating a nuisance. Killing may represent the killing off of old parts of yourself and old habits.

The dream

Dream song of the night | Meatloaf: Rock´N´Roll Dreams Come Through

I dreamed I was a man and I had crabs. Like, the little crab things you get when you’re a naughty boy or supposedly if you sit on the toilet seat. Yeah, those ones.

I sat across from the seven eleven, where I lived in my edward-scissor-hands house and watched people come and go. I saw a pregnant woman and she bought some sugar jubes. I used to work at the car wash in the seven eleven and she recognized me from there. She asked me why I was looking at her, was there something on her face?

Then someone picked her up and she left. I just kept watching the people come and go.

The real world

I’m not a man and I’ve never had crabs (Just for the record). Maybe I’ll get crabs. Maybe I had crabs in a past life! I did used to hang out at the seven eleven all the time, and I do love sugar jubes. My roommate is pregnant.

The dreambook says

To see a pregnant belly, represents emotions that are due to come to the surface. They can no longer remain suppressed.

To see or eat sugar in your dream, signifies that pleasures and enjoyment that you are denying yourself in your life. You need to indulge yourself sometimes and forget about the consequences.

To see or eat candy in your dream, symbolizes the joys and special treats in life. It also represents indulgence, sensuality and/or forbidden pleasure.
