the end - white balloons 05Sep08 | 0

This one is my most recent dream trip….tons and tons of white balloons around my face. I stand there outside my own house, my real house - the house I live in now - holding my white balloons and staring at the windows of my house. It’s a recurring dream, a special one I’ve been saving to the last.

I don’t care to analyse it. It’s just a dream. My very last just before I hand this project in. It doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a thought among many and fools suffer unwisely when they think too much.

Send me some white balloons.

The dream

Dream song of the night |  Roy Orbison: Dreams

In a green green rain forest I lived with elderly people in a retreat. There were thousands of brightly coloured birds in the trees and in the huts. Some caged, some not.

I sat and watched the caged birds all day and decided to take one for myself and put it inside a container. There was a fork next to the cage so I picked it up after I closed the lid, and furiously poked air holes in it.

It was too late and the bird died. I took him out of the container and squeezed his breast, trying  to revive him but to no avail. His wings fell off and flew away. I tried to catch them.

The real world

I’ve often wondered if you can give an animal mouth to mouth.

The dreambook says

To dream of dead or dying birds, foretells a period of coming disappointments. You will find yourself worrying over problems that are constantly on your mind.

[Retrieved from http://www.dreammoods.com]

To see a birdcage in your dream, represents a loss of freedom. You are feeling locked up and unable to fully express yourself.

To dream of a chirping and/or flying birds, represents joy, harmony, ecstasy, balance, and love. It denotes a sunny outlook in life. You will experience spiritual freedom and psychological liberation. It is almost as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

The dream

Dream song of the night | Dokken: In My Dreams

Forgive me, but after a few posts, early mornings and too much coffee this dreamlogging thing gets a little tedious.  At the very least I’ve learned that I am arrogant, I have unfulfilled aspirations (although those goals may be set too high), I’m needy, and that I wish my friends were celebrities. Do you relate? Hell yeah!

This one was a little interesting and I’ll tell you why in the reality section below so read it! Reeeaaad it!

I have two sisters and we live in an edward scissor-hands house with a giant wall to wall fish tank. Not a nice richy looking one, but a dirty, aquarium like one.

We’ve ordered a bus to another planet/parallel dimension. The bus is quite expensive, although my oldest sister as money for us to share.

The one with the money (the tall, overbearing one with the Brittany hit me baby one more time hair)  is supposed to share it with me and the other sister (the short one who’s really shy).

When the bus arrives, and we get on it, she starts crowing about how she’s already given it to me and how I always do this.

The real world

In reality, I never had sisters but always wished for some. I wish for some on a daily basis in fact and probably wished for one the day before I had this dream.

Instead, I got two brothers and they were quite the little buggers let me tell you.

my brothers, in me. lol.

my brothers, in me. lol.

The dreambook says

If you do not have a sister and dream that you have one, then it signifies some qualities that you need to activate or acknowledge within your own self. Pay attention to the actions and behaviour of your dream sister. (snicker!!!!!)

The dream

It was celebrity central this night. Nicole Kidman popped in for a shopping trip with me in Melbourne, and we spent a good while traming it up and down Glenferrie Road in Melbourne. Talkative one that one.  It turns out we’re best friends and go to the same private girls school together.

After I woke up and thought about Nicole for a while, I fell back to sleep and none other than the lovely Eva Longoria visited my 3 year old childhood. We were walking up and down traintracks, which happened to be the backyard of my dad’s house…his backyard patio became the platform of the station.

The house was dreamlike in such a way that although it didn’t look like his <reality> house, I just knew it was. The many windows drew me to stand there staring, and made me guilty for doing so. The whole back-yard train station deal was just one side of the house. On the other side of the house (I never saw it) was an edward-scissor-hands-like neighbourhood with perfect shiny cars and tiny shiny people.

The real world

In my reality, I grew up in Melbourne. And I went to a private girls school there for about 2 years. I used to catch the tram daily to school.

Eva wants a baby, or so I read in the four hours before going to sleep.

Also,  I  spend far too much time watching desperate housewives.

The dreambook says

To see a celebrity in your dream, represents your beliefs and understanding about him or her. Something in you waking life has triggered these similar beliefs and feelings. It is not uncommon that your obsession with a certain celebrity may carry over onto your dream world. Celebrities are often seen as heroes and all that is mighty. Also consider any puns within the name.

To dream that you are good friends with a celebrity, represents your idealized version of someone you know in your life. Perhaps you hope that a real-life friend can act more like a particular celebrity. Consider the qualities that you see in this celebrity and how you want your friends to have those qualities.
